1. Introduction
Welcome to Kimi (the "App" or "Platform") provided by YooYooLive ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal information when you download, install, register, log in, or use Kimi and related services (collectively, the "Services").
We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Please read this policy carefully before using our Services. By checking "Agree" or continuing to use Kimi, you consent to the processing of your personal information as described herein.
This policy applies only to information collected by YooYooLive through Kimi. It does not apply to third-party services that you access through the Platform, which are governed by their own privacy policies.
3. How We Collect Your Information
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide, that we obtain from third parties, and that is automatically collected when you use Kimi, following the principles of lawfulness, legitimacy, and necessity.
3.1 Information You Provide
- Account registration: When you register with email, phone number, or a third-party account (such as Google, Apple, or Facebook), we collect your email address, phone number, username, profile photo, gender, date of birth, and other profile details you choose to provide.
- User content: Messages, voice chat content, photos, videos, comments, and other content you create, upload, or share on the Platform.
- Transactions: When you purchase virtual items or subscriptions through Google Play, Apple App Store, or other payment channels, we collect transaction records including product details, amount, currency, and purchase history.
- Customer support: When you contact us for help or submit feedback, we collect your username, user ID, email, device information, and any details you provide in your message or attachments.
- Surveys & activities: If you participate in events or surveys, we may collect your name, contact information, and responses.
3.2 Information from Third Parties
When you sign in with a third-party account, we receive your user ID, username, and avatar from that platform to create your Kimi account. Additional profile fields may be filled in by you manually. The third party's handling of your data is governed by its own privacy policy.
3.3 Information Collected Automatically
- Device & log data: Device model, device ID (including Android ID / iOS IDFV), operating system version, app version, IP address, network type, language settings, login time, and usage logs.
- Voice & chat: Voice chat data is transmitted through our servers to deliver to recipients but is not permanently stored on our servers unless required for safety review. Offline messages may be temporarily stored until the recipient comes online, then automatically deleted.
- Clipboard (with permission): If you choose to paste or share content from your clipboard, we may access that content to fulfill your request.
- Security & anti-fraud: We analyze device status, login patterns, and user-generated content (text, images, usernames) to detect security risks, fraud, cheating, and harmful content.
- Push notifications: We use push messaging services that may collect device tokens and related identifiers to deliver notifications to your device.
3.4 Device Permissions
Kimi may request access to your microphone, camera, photo library, notifications, and other device permissions to provide voice chat, video, content sharing, and messaging features. You can manage these permissions in your device settings at any time.
4. How We Use Your Information

9. Third-Party Services
Kimi may contain links to or integrate third-party products, services, mini-programs, or websites. Your use of such third-party services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies, not this policy. We encourage you to review third-party policies before providing any personal information. The third party is solely responsible for its handling of your data.
10. Cookies & Similar Technologies
We and our partners may use cookies, SDKs, and similar technologies to enable login, remember preferences, analyze usage, and deliver personalized content and advertising. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser or device settings, though some features may not function properly without them.
11. Age Restrictions
Kimi is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without verifiable parental consent. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete the relevant data.
Users under 16 should read this policy with a parent or guardian and use Kimi under their supervision and consent.
12. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the App, email, or other appropriate means and update the "Effective Date" above. Your continued use of Kimi after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We will not reduce your rights under this policy without your explicit consent.
